What is a Moon sign?
Your Moon sign is the zodiac sign the Moon was in when you were born. Where your Sun sign is your core self, your Moon sign is your inner life: what you need to feel safe, how you react when something touches you, and what comforts you.
The Moon moves fast, about one sign every two and a half days, so two people born a few days apart often have different Moon signs.

We checked the math against the Swiss Ephemeris, the reference most astrology software uses, on 50 made-up births: every Sun, Moon, Venus, Saturn and rising sign matched, with the worst planet position within 12 arcseconds.
