Human Design is a way of describing how you are built to use your energy and make decisions. It takes your birth date, time and place and draws a chart, called a bodygraph, that shows your type, your strategy and your inner authority.

Human Design was first published in 1992 by Ra Uru Hu. It combines ideas from astrology, the I Ching, the chakra system and Kabbalah into one chart. You do not need to know any of them to use it.
Some points are shared with astrology. The Moon's nodes are two of the 13 points in your chart, and in astrology the North Node is read as your direction of growth. Find its sign and house with the North Node calculator.

How people use it
Most people use Human Design as a lens, not a rulebook: to notice when they say yes out of guilt, why some days drain them, or how they decide best. Try one thing, like your strategy, for a few weeks and see what changes.
