Line 1, the Investigator, is your conscious side. You feel safe when you understand how something works. You read, ask and check, and build a solid base of knowledge before you trust it.
Line 3: the Martyr
Line 3, the Martyr or Experimenter, works under the surface. Your body learns by trying, bumping into things and finding out what does not work. Others see you as someone who keeps having adventures, and the odd mishap.
How the two lines work together
Together they make a researcher who also tests everything in real life. You study the map, then walk the road and redraw the map. Mistakes are not failure for a 1/3; they are information. Confidence grows from what you have checked twice, once in books and once in life.
Relationships
Bonds can form and break more often than for other profiles, as the 3rd line tests what fits. A partner who feels like solid ground, and who does not shame the experiments, tends to suit you. You may want to know someone deeply before you commit.
Work
You are often the expert who has actually tried it. Roles that let you research, then test, fix and improve suit you: building, troubleshooting, teaching what you learned the hard way.
