The Projector

Projectors are usually quoted at about 20 percent of people. They have no defined Sacral center and are designed to guide, manage and see others clearly, rather than to work at a constant pace.

Strategy

To wait for the invitation. For the big things in life, such as work, love, where to live and long relationships, Projectors do best when they are recognized and invited. Advice no one asked for, however wise, often falls flat. When they are invited, their insight lands.

Signature and not-self theme

Success is feeling recognized and seeing your guidance used well. Bitterness is the feeling of being overlooked or unappreciated, often after pushing to be heard or trying to work like a Generator.

How decisions work

Projectors can have emotional, splenic, ego, self-projected or mental authority (the last is often called environmental or sounding board). Many find it useful to talk a decision through with people they trust and hear themselves say what they want.

Common misunderstandings

  • Waiting is not passive. Studying, resting and getting ready for the invitation is the work.
  • Projectors are not lazy. Without steady Sacral energy, they work best in focused bursts.
  • The invitation is for the big things, not for every daily choice.

Energy in daily life

Projectors often need more rest than the people around them, and time alone to let go of energy they picked up from others. Lying down before they are exhausted, short focused work and honest boundaries keep bitterness away.

A question to sit with

Where are you pushing to be seen, when you could be getting ready to be invited?

with warmth 🤍

Questions

What is the strategy for a Projector?

To wait for the invitation for the big things in life, such as work, relationships and where to live.

What is the Projector not-self theme?

Bitterness. It often shows up when a Projector is not recognized or works past their energy.

Do Projectors have to wait to be invited for everything?

No. Small daily choices follow their authority. The invitation matters most for the major areas of life.
