What Channel 26-44 is

Gate 44, the Gate of Alertness, lives in the Spleen, the center of instinct and timing. It remembers patterns from the past, so it can sense who will be good on a team and what has worked before. Gate 26, the Gate of the Egoist, lives in the Heart, the willpower center, and knows how to make something sound appealing. Put together, they transmit: they carry a message and get it across.

Surrender, in this sense, means letting go of fear from old patterns so you can offer the right thing at the right time.
