Gate 42 is about completion. Where some gates love beginnings, this one cares about the full arc: middle, end and what was learned. It wants a project, a season or a relationship to reach its natural close. Leaving something half done can feel like an itch you cannot reach.

It maps to hexagram 42 of the I Ching, Increase. The old image is growth that comes from steady giving, like rain falling on fields until the harvest is full. In Human Design this becomes the slow, rich increase of a cycle carried all the way through. Each finished cycle adds to your experience and makes room for the next one.

When Gate 42 is defined
